Bidrage med feedbackVisit here often during lunch. They have a lunch menu for €7 including drink. Food is not as great as what it used to be. The management seemed to have changed twice in the last two years.
There is something about Chinese restaurants in Europe they somehow manage to keep their prices lower than the restaurants serving the native local cuisines! This one is no different! A large variety of food (fresh and cooked met our eyes when we entered the restaurant. There were vegetables, meat, fish and seafood, entries and desserts all laid out neatly in the usual buffet style with the added feature of a chef who will cook the fresh food either in a wok or on a grill. We could choose the type of sauce we wanted our food cooked in there were at least 6 different types! The ambience was nice modern decor and quiet. Although drinks were not included in the price, the rate of €8/person (for lunch on weekdays and €11.95/person (for dinner and on weekends was well worth it. The drinks, including wine, were reasonably priced (less than €2.00 for a 500 ml bottle of mineral water . Their opening hours are from 1300 hours 1600 hours and from 2000 hours 2400 hours (Sun Mon . They also do take aways. The restaurant is situated next to the Senator Parque Central Hotel, which is how we came across it. As soon as you exit the hotel, go right and you will see it just after the gym adjoining the hotel. From Plaça l'Ajuntament, Bus 8 in the direction of Bulevard Sud will bring you to the Senator Parque Central Hotel. It is about a 17 minute bus ride from the Plaça. Staff were attentive and pleasant with the exception of the owner (at least I think he was the owner who was impatient when we couldn't understand what he was saying in Spanish. Turned out he wanted my passport to verify the credit card I was using. I thought this was a bit paranoid as nowhere else in Valencia was I required to show photographic evidence when I used my credit card. This one incident marred a little an otherwise very pleasant experience and for this reason alone, I rated this restaurant 4 instead of 5. We shall, however, return to eat here when we next visit Valencia, if only to give the owner a second chance. He may have been having a bad day the day we went there : Tip: For the strict vegetarian, be informed that the fish and meat are all cooked in the same wok and grilled on the same grilling surface.
