I may return to valença to eat here again. we ordered a salad, a pizza and a desert. everything was top notch, and the service was very friendly.

We had dinner last week at Casa Di Mamma, and the pizza was better than anything we’ve had outside of Italy. We have had Neapolitan-style pizzas in several eateries in New York and Connecticut, but nothing compares with these. The crust was superb and there...was an usually wide array of choices of toppings. The service was also excellent.

Best place we ate for a week! Nice and simple interior, even though the wooden bench was a bit uncomfortable. Nice and quick staff, who spoke English. As usual the menus only in Spanish. We had a different pizza each, and every one of us liked it. Reasonable prices. After dinner the waiter brought glasses of each dessert to the table, so we could pick. Pizzas were very good, desert more averageish.

I was just looking for a restaurant to eat anything in the middle of a long trip when tripadvisor suggested me this restaurant.I can tell you now that it was the best surprise ever! I found out a minimalist well decorated restaurant, with staff very well prepared and amazing Italian food, but the top was really the desert!What an amazing discovery...

A nondescript street in the modern part of Valença is the last place we expected to find such an authentic and excellent Italian restaurant. Definitely worth seeking out before or after visiting the fortress.
