The Fox Inn - Vale of White Horse

We stopped by a Sunday. they had a little table, so we took it. eating was amazing, the personal was friendly. a sweet pub. we will return to the future and will definitely book.

Fantastic eating, beautiful venue, friendly staff and beer, what they might want more!

Beautiful small pub in small village. exelent service and exelent food! Sundays carvery was spot on, all three of us had the roast pork bell served with cheesy leek and brocoli, apple and apple sauce and a common side of veg. everything was boiled to perfection and large portions, so they definitely always great worth for their money. we also had lattes and again they are good quality and creamy. we had a pod table that I could imagine are even better in summer when they are out. do not let them shut off during this winter, as they have put the pods in a jaquee with heating and it is very pleasant to have their own little blase! well decorated and designed. if they are looking for a beautiful Sunday meal, this is the place will be returned defined. (the pictures don't give enough credit to eat!

We had not booked, but fortunately it was early enough to sit in one of the Gypsy Kavan booths. a fabulous set, designed to deal with covid restrictions. the menu was interesting, somewhat more unusual than the usual pub favorites. the food was delicious and well presented. when we left most of the stands, we were in use. would definitely go back and recommend the place.

I went to tge Fox today as part of a 90th birthday celebration. The staff were courteous, professional and very helpful. The young waitress dealt with with us all exceptionally well especially our 1year old. I've been there before and will be back again!!
