Gg's Southern Kitchen - Valdosta

Hands down best roasted chicken and topped greens I've ever had! my girls loved their **** sandwiches, and my man has stuffed the bum! the hired and owners? we think) were friendly and hospitable! many thanks for a great first dinner in the holiday!

We just went through and moved restaurants on google. it was between gg’s and a fish restaurant. I'm so glad we choose gg. we ordered fried chicken with mac n cheeses and gravy and spicy steak with green and kohl. oh my god! everything was great! the hunch had the best crawl for it. we love finding small family restaurants to eat. the owners were working there and even came to the chat. definitely look by and try this place when they are in the city.

It really tastes like home cooking! I loved the green beans and mac and cheese. my 3 Y/o son loved the maisbrot, and my wife said the peach-cheek cup would be worth coming back for it. be warned, the menu is small, so I added a picture so that they know what is available before they go.

We were looking for a non-chain restaurant on our trip at midday and found this great gem. the facility was very clean, the staff was wonderful and the menu was simple and delicious describing. we received our food in a short time after ordering and it looked as delicious as it sounded. at the end there was no leichenhahn on both plates. they were perfectly proportional and quite tasty. my man is not a cornbread fan, but he ate every bit. great place, great option. Five stars!

The first time I went to GG's restaurant I didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked in I was greeted by a smiling face and welcomed to GG's. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was and the wonderful smells that filled the place. The staff was friendly and eager to answer my many questions. I ordered the fried chicken, yams, green beans, mac n cheese and crackling beard. It was by far the best food that I've had in the 17 years since my grandma had passed. It definitely took me back to those days when she was cooking in the kitchen. I enjoyed the food so much that I returned to GG's the following day with my entire family. I definitely plan on going there again and again and again.
