Since the tourist offices of the area are especially closed on weekends, we ask some people at the head of the salt where we could eat, and we were recommended this restaurant, located in the small city of caviedes. the establishment is in a typical rural case, easily recognizable by the large number of cars parked at the door, which draws attention given the small size of this village. the courtyard of the house, located at the entrance, has taken advantage of it as a terrace where there are tables to eat. from it you access (on the left hand) to the bar, which is also a small food and ultramarine shop, and from the front to the living room (has two communicators). all the decoration is rustic, combining the wood with the thick stone walls of the farm. It was Sunday, I was overflowing with people and there was a waiting list of about two hours to eat. We were lucky and I don't know how, we were accommodated 10 minutes on a table on the terrace. It is a traditional restaurant run by the family, which has been open for more than 40 years. the menu is based on the typical and homemade cuisine of the area, being so stars the cooked mountaineers, the spoon dishes, the red meats of the pansa, the bakes of eggs with fries and various ingredients, the goat, the callos, the chorizo picadillo, the morcilla, the rabies. another thing that surprises is the very wide variety of wines. We had a lot of appetite, so we decided to start with a cooked mountaineer. They brought us an operation to serve us at our discretion. beans with vegetables were accompanied by a clay saucer with bacon, chorizo and two different types of clay.
