Bidrage med feedbackWe had a wonderful evening from start to finish at Restaurant au Mazot Suisse! The service was friendly, the food was exceptional, and the prices were great. We will definitely be returning!
I had only ever tried fondue or Chinese fondue at family gatherings, so I wasn't sure what to expect from a restaurant. After a weekend of canoe camping, we were in need of a good homemade meal. Initially, I was taken aback by the prices, thinking it was a bit expensive for a plate of meat and a few sauces. I was also disappointed to hear that they had run out of their mushroom dishes. We started with escargot and onion soup, which were the best I've ever had. The main course seemed like just a plate of meat chunks at first, but once cooked and dipped in the sauces, it was amazing! We both had the oil fondue, one with paprika pork and one with breaded beef. The breaded beef was my favorite, and the sauces complemented the meat well. Overall, a fantastic restaurant, but due to the prices, we probably won't go every time we're in the area. It's definitely a special treat once in a while.
I recently visited a charming fondue restaurant in Val Morin. I tried their mixed mushroom fondue and it was incredibly delicious. I am already looking forward to going back and having it again, but I also want to try the saffron and onion fondue. My husband ordered the raclette and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and are craving some cheesy dishes.
Great service and fantastic food! One of the best Suisse restaurants I have ever been. Best place to have a delicious raclette! Cheese is melted in front of a fire, and then scraped onto our plates, the old-fashioned way. Suisse fondue was also great. My friends and I drove from Montreal to Val-Morin just to have dinner and it was absolutely worthy!
