Les Tufs - Val-d'Isère

Charcoal grill, looked and smelt great, sadly we were just in for a quick bite. pasta dishes and salads very good too. recommended.

We and our friends have been loyal customers of Les Tufs for over a decade and have always appreciated the food, the ambience and the staff. For every previous visit we would have awarded five stars. Very sadly the restaurant appears to have changed hands,...and is now owned by the rudest woman that we have ever had the misfortune to meet. In an extraordinary customer un-friendly attitude, she told us that she didn 't care if we never came back, and that we were badly educated because we had the temerity to bring our own wine (as we had done for the previous ten years). There were nevertheless two positives from our visit; we think that the chef is still the same because the food was perfectly good, and more importantly the new owners cannot possibly last very long if this is the way they approach their business. We look forward to another change of ownership as soon as possible but in the meantime recommend that readers avoid Les Tufs unless absolutely necessary!!!

A expensive hair, but it's the location that wants it. on the other hand, the service is top and the dishes are very good

We took advantage of the good exposure of the terrace, at the bottom of the slopes, for lunch in the sun. efficient and fast service. The omelet was particularly successful.
