Leonora - Vail

We sat as soon as we went into the door. Our waiter did not rush to offer us a lot of time to look over the menu and then gave us good descriptions of each dish. We started with the apple and butternut salad and then chose the very recommended roasted Venison-Loin, which was fabulous. Then we were not completely full, we had an order of shrimps. We finished the meal with sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful experience at Leonora. The service from Dylan was so much fun. Loved the ambiance, food and a bit pricey but you are in Vail and it was worth it.

From the start, the team at Leonora were great. Our original reservation for a larger group had dwindled to just three, but they were kind enough to find a cozy table for us. Our waiter Jeremy offered superior service with excellent recommendations throughout our meal and attention to our needs. He was also friendly enough to chat with us for a moment when his section slowed down. And I noticed his kindness to other diners with special needs, making sure all were warmly welcomed. Wonderful place to dine if you’re social and like to share small plates. So glad we started our ski weekend with a meal here!

Like everywhere else these days, they were short handed. But the Somm, Garrett, busted his tail as utility player and made our dinner experience (and wine pairing) impeccable. Every dish was excellent, and it was constant temptation to overindulge with “just one more” small plate. Will be back next season.
