Lo Scugnizzo - VADO LIGURE

We live in the nearby town of Savona , but only recently discovered this pizzeria , situated not far from the ferry terminal of Vado Ligure. Here you can taste the real Naples style pizza, which is not so easy to find here in northern Italy. The dough is properly soft and thin in the middle but puffy at the edges and is topped with real mozzarella cheese. My favourite is “siciliana”, with anchovies , olives and capers... mouthwatering! This pizzeria also offers a good selection of italian beer, I loved the “birra Messina cristalli di sale” , made in Sicily.

Excellent! 1. Friendly staff 2. Excellent Napoletan Pizza (individual or metre) 3. Simple place, not fancy These are the 3 reasons to not miss this small pizzeria in front of the Vado Port. The location isn't great if you are looking for a busy area, but the napoletan pizza is one of the best! Excellent! Don't miss the opportunity to try it. I cannot evaluate the Italian cuisine which I know they have as well, but the pizza, just go for it.

Was glad there was availability , but the overall experience of Italian dining was very poor.spagethi bologna use tasted like mince and spagethi and my husbands carbonara was tasteless and lumpy. To be far it is a pizza restaurant but I would have expected their cooking to be better than mine. Poor. Disappointing

Posto fantastico panorama bellissimo a pochi minuti da Savona sembra di essere in una zona totalmente diversa. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Polenta buonissima.
