Bidrage med feedbackAwful experience. We waited half an hour for a pizza. I know food comes slow in Italy, but this is the airport, and people might be in a hurry. When our pizza was soggy and lukewarm, obviously it had been left out long after it came out the oven. And surprise surprise, they charge 2 euro per person for service and 3.5 euro for water.
We were afraid of not being able to grab food after we got through the gates at MXP, so we came here for one last meal in Italy before heading off. The place was crowded so we thought it must be good. We were seated immediately, and the first red flag should have been the waitress running around looking frantic, but we ignored it. We ordered within five minutes and waited.... And waited and waited and waited. Long story short we almost missed our flight because of this meal. The food was OK, considering it was airport food. It was pricey also. Do yourself a favor and grab McDonald's in the food court before your flight. Don't come here unless you have hours to kill. Your flight will take off before your food even gets to you.

Il luogo: Rossopomodoro al Terminal 1 di Malpensa, quel posto in cui arrivi e ti chiedi dove sia la famigerata sala di ristorazione al primo piano, che per arrivarci praticamente devi portare l 'Unico Anello al Monte Fato, o giù di lì. Le alternative non sono moltissime, anche se accanto c 'è un Mac, ma volevo mangiare qualcosa di teoricamente più sano , che poi ho scoperto non esserci. Rossopomodoro lo riconosci dalla lunga fila indiana, perché la cassa è una e i clienti alternativamente o si affollano (italiani) o attendono eternamente in fila, superati da quelli che si affollano (stranieri). All 'arrivo, la scelta è tra una vasta quantità di untissimi fritti e una sezione di untissime pizze perlopiù già pronte e vendute al taglio, a prezzi da boutique (e senza duty free). Siamo onesti: il gattoncino (diminutivo di gateau) con salame e provola aveva una sola fetta di salame e una sottilissima fetta di provola, circondati da due enormi strati di purea di patate fritta. Ciononostante, si è lasciato mangiare, mi ha unta a dovere e mi è stato servito su un vassoio pulito, con tanto di piatto di ceramica lindo.
I stopped here before entering our gate in Milan 's airport. This place was bumping, and tons of interested customers line up outside as they debate their last meal in Italy to be some cafe, Rossopomodoro or McDonalds. We decided that despite eating italian food for the past 10 days and sick of it, we should eat it one last time before returning to the States. Given our situation, this was a bad mistake. The service was painfully slow, which at a international airport literally is a DEALBREAKER. I mean, 80% of the patrons there have to get through their gate, checkin, baggage, customs and security. Taking 15 minutes just get a waitress at our table, and then 40 minutes to get served food is no bueno. The food was 'okay ' Nothing special. The pizza lacked was nothing special and the pasta, while good, was a small portion given the price. 1 soda costed 4:50 euros which is a bit pricey. Overall, not a horrible place given that its in a airport. But make sure you allow yourself enough time.
I had the opportunity to grab a margherita pizza here before a flight. The crust was chewy just how I prefer. The sauce was tangy and the cheese fresh. A great way to departure Italy
