I booked for a group of 18 walkers the staff was friendly and helpful and could not have done more for us, all 18 served lunch efficiently a thoroughly enjoyable experience. many thanks Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Pretty dire, food took over an hour to arrive (egg was possibly cooked for an hour) and was pretty underwhelming. Not worth it, don’t get what the reviews are about. Price per person: £80–90 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

We were recommended by a friend to visit The Dukes Head as it was close to the Pumkin farm. On arrival with our 18 month old baby, we looked for a table. We were approached by the manager. He outlined they were fully booked. No issues. But the pub clearly had free tables. So i asked the manager again, are these tables free. I was shocked by his rude response and nature. He really needs customer service training. 1st rule, be polite. Glad i didn't spend a penny at this pub.
