El Greco - Utrecht Nederland

These guys love Greek food and that you can taste! The circle is delicious, perfectly moist and not dry as others I had. Your tzatziki sauce and simple salad makes the perfect addition. And to finish it with a freshly baked Pita bread. The perfect dinner, lunch or late snack!!!

The first I got food from when I came to Utrecht, a basic name in the city among Dutch and international students alike, a kind and always smiling family staff, and some of the best food in the city for its price. I would always recommend El Greco to everyone in town and I am going so often. Looking for a bite somewhere for less than 10eur? With friends? Late in the night? It always works and is not disturbed by the queue you could find there, it is a very fast movement thanks to the efficiency of the owners. However, there are no vegan options (except Pommes), and limited veggie options, no bathroom for parasols, and limited seats inside. Fortunately, the plaza to which it borders has many benches. Total great connection with food you have tried before with a Greek swirl. I strongly recommend something fast food or a snack.

El Greco provided a delicious lunch on a local BYO terrace and delivered delicious Greek dishes on a scorching hot day of pride.

Best cheaper and quick snack after a night! My tip: Take the Turkish pizza with salad.

I've been coming here for almost 20 years now, from student till my 35 years old. El Greco is real Utrecht and real Greek. Their Pita Gyros is damn tasty, and their crew always treats you with a smile and good food. I don't know what it is, but they always seem to have fun doing it. This is where you get your greek snacks in Utrecht! And Utrecht loves them back!
