Northern Grind Coffee - Utica

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff was kind and friendly. We enjoyed the delicious muffins, bagels, and coffee.Thank you!

I was driving around looking for quiet place to study and found this hidden gem. Very cozy atmosphere. Gives off some “small Northern MI town coffee shop” vibes. The coffee is great, lots of different options and it’s not overpriced! Haven’t had the food yet but it looks delicious.

This is a cool little café. The vibe inside is very chill with a friendly staff. They have a bathroom. They have alternative milk options, a few gluten free desserts, that mushroom coffee. Good portions- I ordered egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel and my mom ordered a chicken panini and I got more egg than expected and she got more chicken than expected

Stopped here after having a poor experience at Tim Hortons, hoping to find that there is some good coffee in this area. Had a grand experience. ? We were welcomed when we came in the door. She was very gracious and hospitable and personable. She has a sense of humor? She worked very efficiently and had all four drinks ready in commendable time. The vibe of the place was very relaxing and comfortable, chill but yet stylish and cute. There were comfortable chairs and wooden games to play. We were all pleased with our coffees. I got- and highly recommend- a hot latte with hazelnut, toasted marshmallow, and dark chocolate sauce. Coffee was well-balanced in syrup to espresso ratio, erring on the side of less syrup to allow the smooth strong espresso flavor full presence. Know that if you get a sauce it will be sweeter than a syrup. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience. Thank you, Northern Grind Coffee, for improving our morning. ?

Lots of different drinks, has alternative milk options, real fruit smoothies and decently comfortable furniture. Some stuff was expensive, some was cheap. Its cute that they have GF/vegan dessert items but they are on the questionable spectrum IMO... Manager Laura is awesome knowledgable
