Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered our wedding cake from Christine’s. We had a tasting session and described the cake we wanted. The cake turned out beautiful and very tasty. Very happy with the process, great customer service and beautiful tasty cake. Our guests loved the cake as well.
We are SO HAPPY we decided to go with Christine's for our wedding cake. Our cake was moist and fluffy, so flavorful just absolutely delicious! We knew from the moment that we had our tasting that Christine's was the right choice and we signed a contract on the spot. No other cakes compared! After we chose our flavors and design, Christine's took over and handled the delivery and setup. An absolute great bakery to work with. We got SO many compliments on how this was the best wedding cake ever! We cannot recommend Christine's enough!
I placed an order for a cake and cookies for Easter on the Friday prior. My order was accepted and a time for Saturday pickup was set. When I arrived they did not have the cake that was ordered. They did have a different cake available and I took it as I needed this for Easter. The cookies I ordered were not available either. They again offered a substitute, Again, not what I ordered. I was able to get a refund of the difference. In the end I have something to offer my guests but nothing what I ordered. Regardless, of the substitutes, I'm still disappointed
Apparently, everything is the Consumers Fault. And, companies in this day and age refuse to accept responsibility for their mistakes. If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. I special ordered their advertised bunny cake for Easter, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. The cake was properly stored, and eaten one day later. This cake tasted like baking soda powder and hardened butter cream m, with zero sugar. It DID NOT taste like cake . To make matters worse, my brother-in-law became sick (throwing up) my sister felt sick. I immediately told my sister to throw the cake out as it was clearly a health hazard and there were little kids in the house. I placed a call to Christine 's Cakes and pastries, explaining what happened and didn 't receive a call back until 8 o 'clock that night. The voicemail indicated that they wanted me to bring the cake in to the production manager on Monday. Well, due to the long return call response time which was about seven hours later, by then the cake was in the garbage.I called on Monday and was basically blamed for the entire poorly made cake. I didn 't make the cake, and if I did make a cake, I would know how to properly make a cake that contains sugar so it taste like cake and not just baking soda powder and hardened butter cream. I told the lady I spoke with that they should put a disclaimer on their website stating if the cake doesn 't taste good, save it and bring it in the next day. Because things that are a health hazard, especially with little kids are around, are disposed of immediately. The most important thing is that my brother-in-law is feeling better, but I will never order from Christine 's Cakes and pastries ever again !! Apparently, what I gleaned from this was that they big batch the cakes so by the time they got to my cake was leftover baking soda powder. Maybe they should taste test what they 're exactly producing before giving it to the consumer. Because all I did was order it. I 'm appalled at the poor customer service and did get very upset over the phone because it 's absolutely disgusting how they try to blame the consumer when all I did was order a cake that didn 't taste like cake! Here 's a suggestion: Own up to the mistake that you made instead of placing blame on the consumer. Just give it a try ! You might be surprised at how you feel afterwards, ie: owning up to mistakes.
Zero stars. Cake tasted very funky. Did not finish for fear of getting sick. Definitely missing some key ingredients. Frosting tasted like spoiled butter. Very odd for a place who prides themselves on delicious cakes..and concerning.
