If you’re in Urubamba, this is a foodie lovers paradise. The cuisine is such a fun fusion of Peruvian, Thai, and Brazilian flavors. Laura, the lady of the front of the house, is so sweet and generous. The atmosphere and decor is eclectic, adorable and...so welcoming. Making a reservation is an absolute must. I do believe this is a 2 person show (Laura and the chef, maybe one more helper? so the reservations help them pace the traffic and ingredients for the day. Keep the back end of the restaurant visit open and allow yourself the time to sit and enjoy the fun music and Calle (the restaurant cat . This is a place you will want to savor. Everything we had so delicious. And you can really taste the thought and care that went into the entire menu. We had the Peruvian Thai style ceviche, Kampu Moqueca, Picante de Langostinos and the key lime pie dessert. LOVED every bite of it. Their mint lemonade was also a refreshing hit. And you can smell the fruits as Laura blends and juices away. This is a place you won’t regret making the trip to visit! Salud!
We stopped here for lunch and had the most amazing food! It was not just the food, but the whole experience! You have to eat here!
I went to Kampu without reservation, but you should call first. It was probably the best food I had here. It was delicious. They are various types of food both Indian (the cook is a professional curry cook) and Peruvian. It was so... good. If you pass Urubamba, you must go to this restaurant. You won't regret it!
We dined as a large group of friends and had the most fantastic experience and meal. Because we create 13 people cook Eduardo the menu and it serves family style. What meant we had to taste over 9 different dishes. All were excellent, although the...tirado was my personal favorite. Probably the best I had in all of Peru. (The only thing I could skip is the fried Wintons. It is difficult to imagine how he can prepare such a wide and imaginative amount of dishes as well and so quickly. It serves beer and wine at very reasonable prices. This is a must for those who visit the Sacred Valley.
