El Huacatay - Urubamba

This restaurant is a peaceful oasis hidden away in the bustling city of Urubamba. Some tables are situated in a sunny garden surrounded by tropical plants. We tried their Arrocife (fried rice with a peanut sauce) and Thai Green Curry, both of which were vegan, as well as the goat cheese whole wheat pasta and sweet potato ravioli, which are vegetarian. Everything was absolutely delicious, with a special shoutout to the vegan dishes, which were our favorites. The flavors were bold and well balanced, and each dish was served with a variety of creative sides such as fried plantains and crisped spiralized carrots, adding extra layers of flavor and texture. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, making it an all-around fantastic dining experience.

This restaurant is a hidden oasis of rest in the loud city urubamba. some tables are located in a sunny garden with tropical plants. we had their arrrocife (fried rice with aldernut sauce), thai green curry, both vegan, and the goat cheese full wheat pasta, and the sweet potato ravioli, which are vegetrian. everything was from this world, with a special mention for the two vegan dishes that were our favorites. the aromen were bold and harmonious, and all the dishes were accompanied by many imaginative sides (Fritten-Plantain, crowned spiral carrots. add additional aromes and textures. the waiters were lovely and it was a great experience overall.

This restaurant offers a fantastic meal - considered the best in the Sacred Valley. It is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it! The menu features interesting taste combinations and has something for everyone. Just be aware that they do not accept credit cards, so it's advisable to find a cash machine before dining there.
