This is comfort food at its best. If you go home hungry, you 're too picky to eat here. The sides are endless and served family style . The sugar biscuits are addictive. The coleslaw is fine cut slightly sweet. The apple butter goes great with thecottage cheese I 'm told the beets are great. The French fries are hot and crisp and there are bowls of sweet corn and countrystyle green beans. The chicken is 10 out of 10 and the baked egg plant is terrific. This time I added the jumbo shrimp stuffedwith crab meat and I wasn 't disappointed. Make reservations for large parties and get there early, because they close early andthe fresh baked deserts out in the waiting area will all be gone and you will be sad that you missed them.

I don?t know how I?ve never done a review on this delicious restaurant. My family has been coming here for years and the food has never lost quality or taste. Friendly farm has the BEST crab cake and chicken out there! The crab cake is alllump?literally! The chicken is fresh and fried to perfection and not greasy. Everything is served family style with deliciousappetizers such as my personal favorites the sugar biscuits and fried apples. The dinner sides are also family style includingfries, fresh corn, and green beans. And we can?t forget about the ice cream dessert with many flavors to choose from. The staffare always nice too! I have always had positive dining experiences here and would highly recommend to anyone!

This place still serves some of the best crab cakes around. Don’t expect anything fancy—it's all about good food served with a friendly smile in a relaxed country setting. I ordered the surf and turf, and while the steak comes unseasoned, it's packed with flavor. A sprinkle of salt, pepper, and a bit of bitter seasoning brought it to life for me. The regulars seem to prefer it plain, but I would love to see a nicely seasoned sear available upon request. The staff really puts in the effort to make you happy, and they succeed!

These crab cakes are the best I've ever tasted! They were reasonably priced and came with unlimited sides. The blueberry cheesecake ice cream was fantastic. The server was attentive, and the restrooms were spotless. Don’t forget to check out the jams and jellies, along with the baked goods at the front. They also had the best lemon meringue pie I’ve ever had! I just wish I didn’t live so far away.

I'm not quite sure how to express just how DELICIOUS everything was! The chicken was probably the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. And the sides? Amazing. And the BREAD! Seriously, try your hardest not to fill up before your main course arrives, but good luck with that! Maybe skip the apple butter if you want a fighting chance at saving room for dinner. But honestly, it doesn’t even matter because you’ll definitely want to take leftovers home! You have to go—and go often!
