Bidrage med feedbackIt was a slow night (Thursday) and plenty of tables available. Service was good, but food was just ok. Lots of old people and while that is great, I'm sure this place was much better when they were young and energetic (the 80's and 90's I'm thinking).Atmosphere was rustic barn/school house.Steak was decent in size and temperature, but veggies were soagy and baked potato was hard and overdone (probably in hot box from the night before).I would go back next time I am in town and give this place a second chance.
Nice place to have a good steak without all of the pretentiousness of some other spots. Great value, especially when you're able to take advantage of a coupon or discount.Kid friendly and seafood options available too.
My husband and I wanted a good place to have dinner for our 40th anniversary. We decided on Scotch and Sirloin because it's a place we always liked before COVID. It was a little pricey but you got so much and we like the atmosphere. You got a great dinner with the salad bar. Now you have to pay extra for the salad bar.We were so disappointed. Our server was great, very friendly and attentive. Our food on the other hand was not great. The veggies and baked potato were cold. So cold that the butter on the potato would not melt. My piece of steak tasted good but had so much grissel that I couldn't cut one end of it, even with a steak knife. The sweet potato fries were very good. They forgot part of our meal but we didn't miss it until our server mentioned it.The dessert was delicious, until we got to the little plastic pieces in it.Probably won't go there again unless it the choice of a family member.
A minimal salad bar is now $8 with a meal. Lettuce with some spinach leaves mixed in. Cucumber slices were soft in the middle nasty looking.Ordered 3 NY Strip steaks and all were way undercooked. The med-rare was rare the medium and medium well were both med-rare at best.The order of french fries were so over cooked they were almost black. Appeared they were leftovers cooked a 2nd time mushy. Also, the zucchini tomato veggie side was flavorless, tasted like zucchini was blanched and just nasty tasting.This is not the same restaurant we remember with the high quality food. Just very high prices for substandard quality.Certainly will not be ever returning here.
I give the a 5 star review- from the 1st contact with the hostess to our waiter fellow staff our food was fanominal- cooked as asked- staff was amazing- salad bar clean fresh! Everything just perfect ! Thank you Isaac And your whole team ! P.s. it was my birthday abd they made it great !
