Cool and quaint little place with plenty of Philly spoken. Gave it a try for the first time. FYI, I have been in the food biz for over 40years from Operation, distribution, regional manufacture. Bottom line, it was not an enjoyable experience. Ordered the cheesesteak of course, instead of cheese whiz, which is the original we preferred provolone. You would think they would use a roll from Philly like the well known Amoroso, but NO. It was the most horrible tuff Hoagie I have ever tried. The meat was so over cooked it was tuff and dry. I guess that's why there were only a few people there during the noon time rush. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

This place use to be really good prior to Covid. Today I went for Hot Italian Sauage with peppers and onions. I was very disappointed. The sausage taste was good however the sandwich as a whole was a rip off. As you can see from the pictures there is a very big roll with a piece of sausage cut if half that is grilled and very very little peppers or onions. I paid extra to have the provolone cheese put on. I can't imagine what it would have tasted like if it was just sausage because there was not even enough onions or peppers to taste. This sandwich cost me $13.31. I can understand people cutting back after Covid because cost of good is so high but peppers and onions are not that expensive. To cut back and raise prices is unacceptable. I am highly disappointed, that I hasn't tried this restaurant before! I ordered the Philly without the bun. It was excellent! Maybe next time I will try it with the roll. Just didn't feel like it today. They also have onion rings sweet potato fries. I will do either next visit and there will be a next visit! Give the place a try!
