Dowlings Irish Pub - Union Beach

Made our 1st visit last night for half price burger bingo night. Lots of energy in the room. Food was a lot better than I expected. My wife had a grilled chicken sandwich that she thought it was the best she ever had I had a RARE burger with Taylor Ham added (not pork roll) which was excellent. I didn't expect the entire place was there for the event. Chris the bartender was on point making sure that everyone had a full glass and Food. We totally enjoyed our night out.

Great neighborhood Irish Pub serving typical bar food along with their famous homemade Irish nachos and reuben egg rolls.Service at the bar is always great with the best bartenders who are both friendly and helpful. Dowlings is a MUST when there is entertainment scheduled or during football season. Great watering hole to meet up with friends and enjoy a drink or two!

Wanted to have a low key night out, they have live music ? on Friday Saturday so that was a nice surprise. We were working our way down the menu as Mark would say ? (the owner, he introduced himself). The food was delicious and the Reuben spring rolls are fresh in house made, with his wife's recipe for the thousand island dipping sauce. The buffalo wings were good, I got the hot ??️? I found them to be nicely dressed with buffalo sauce ?, finally we had some loaded mashed potatoes poppers, they were creamy but had a nice crisp outer layer.We also enjoyed a few drinks which was not pictured but it was an Angry Orchard a White SangriaParking: The lot can fit a decent amount of cars but there is also street parkingWheelchair accessibility: There are tables you can easily fit in a wheelchair comfortable at, also easy access to the handicap restroom.

Irish nachos were good, but could have been more corned beef bits spread about. Cheese was smooth and tasty.Kid-friendliness: NOT for kids.

Trivia on Thursdays and good food. Can’t get much better as a local bar!
