Gerber Haus - Ulm

Just wanted a nice dinner by myself in a half full restaurant with plenty of room at the bar. Once they got a whiff I wasn’t a local they forcefully pushed me outside and said don’t come back. Thought Ulm was a nice place until...this interaction.

Absolutly delicious! Staff friendly, nice atmosphere. Food was so well prepared, looked and tasted great. Would always come back.

It is located in the Fisherman's Quarter, close to the River Donau. Best to make a reservation ahead. The menue card is a little smaller than normal, because of the Covid 19 problems. The service was very friendly. The served menues looked nice and tasted...fantastic. Too bad that the toilets smelled ugly, though the place is renewed.

Restaurant de cuisine locale (et non pas Méditerranéenne comm stipulé dans le Lonely Planet (!)), fréquenté par des autochtones, ce qui est plutôt bon signe...Cuisine honnête et gouteuse... mais que le temps d'attente est long...Dommage... car 2 heures pour 2 plats et 1 dessert, c'est trop... on a le temps de boire sa bière... et d'en recommander une...Le cadre est très beau, le long d'un petit canal et la salle lumineuse...
