We arrived at this pub about lunch time after trying other places nearby for a coffee, as soon as we walked in and approached the bar the bar server asked had we booked, as there was only a handful of people in there I thought what a strange question we only want a coffee, so I asked if they had a lunch menu which she grabbed one from near the till and put it on the bar for us to view,in all this time she continued to mess around with the till with her back to us while we looked at the menu, then she disappeared into the kitchen and left us at the bar wondering if she would come back, no explanation as to why she went we were stuck at the bar like a pair of lemons, so we made the decision to walk out and not to return again

Booked online in the morning for an afternoon booking but there was no record of the booking when we arrived, even though we had an email to confirm it. Most of the staff had no Customer Service skills and were speaking loudly, complaining about other customers within our earshot. Not an enjoyable experience. Will not be visiting again.

Appalling drunken language I took my 10 year old for an early evening bottle of pop and crisps as a treat The pub had 3 very drunk young guys at the bar, the language was totally obscene littered with F s and C s The disinterested bar person was more interested in playing with his phone and telling me they had taken on another pub? God spare us if this is the way they run the business. He had no conception of controlling the clients and we left feeling very intimidated A shame and doubt any form of family oriented customers would feel happy in this type of toxic environment

Came for breakfast . We've not been here for a long time and were impressed by how it's all been revamped. Just one other table eating breakfast We had the full breakfast and it was very good value and tasty ... A good pub breakfast. Surprised it was so quiet as it's great value... We will give it a try for lunch ..

Big family get together in this beautiful pub. 10 adults, 1 child, 1 baby and a dog. All meals were served together so no one was left waiting. Food was hot and absolutely delicious through all courses. Staff were happy and attentive! 10/10 cannot fault anything and will definitely visit again!
