Pier - Uig United Kingdom

Better eat algae in the port next to... By the way to Uig, I stopped in this restaurant and ordered a burger. I couldn't finish it so much the meat (lined between two tips of dried bread was atrocious: ramassis of fried fat, I would have been unable to guess that it was beef if I had not ordered it myself. Anyway, worse restaurant of my two weeks in Scotland. My girlfriend couldn't finish her macaroni and cheese, insipids... You should better eat seaweeds in the pier. I ordered the burger, I was not able to finish it, the meat was terrible, somekind of fried fat (maybe an old seagul? . Worst restaurant I ate in during my two weeks in Scotland.

We drove all the way around the top of Skye from Staffin to Uig, only finding this place open around 3:30 pm for a bit to eat. Most of it is closed off assuming for winter, but it was empty, so we got a seat on the couches around a table. The guy behind the bar was nice and we got a round of drinks, as well as 3 soups and a steak pie with some chips. The guy behind the bar also made our food and it came out pretty quickly. The soup was a vegetable broth and was very nice, with barely and some split green peas. We were pleasantly surprised and it was a nice late lunch. The steak pie was apparently very tasty and the chips were nice as well. Over all, an inexpensive, no frills stop with good pub food and drinks on tap. I would definitely stop here again for some soup and a pint!
