Pizzeria Peperino - UGENTO

DO NOT COME TO THIS PIZZERIA. I 'm sorry to have to write such a message, but the lack of respect shown towards me and the other diners was such as to force me to do it. I 'll tell you my experience: we entered this pizzeria which was COMPLETELY EMPTY. I ask the waiter for a table for two. He replies: Do you sit down now or later? . I don 't quite understand the meaning of the question, but let 's forget it. I sit down around 8:30, I order about ten minutes later and, from that moment, I start waiting. An infinite wait in which we saw the place fill up more and more, until all the places available. I started to get irritated when I saw the pizzas starting to arrive at the other tables, while I continued to be patient, with hunger rising and with a very annoying hole in my stomach. I had to call the waiters twice: the first time they told me that they were having problems but that the pizzas should have just been taken out of the oven , the second time, after about twenty minutes, I was told that there would be been offered. I didn 't have appetizers, desserts, fruit or anything else because I wanted a quick meal, but despite this I left the pizzeria exactly two hours later. The wait had become so excruciating that I was convinced to get up and leave: only and exclusively the fact that the pizzas would be offered made me change my mind. Not because I didn 't want to pay, but because in this way they were showing interest and dedication towards a dissatisfied customer, thus making me understand that the whole thing was nothing more than an unpleasant exception that had happened to me. Guess what? I paid the bill in full and the waiter the same waiter who had told me he would offer me the pizzas looked me in the eyes and said Everything is fine? Are you sure? . Putting aside my very bad experience, I thought I 'd look around to see how things were going at the other tables. I immediately noticed annoyed faces a bit here and there, but the experience of a table with families with children whose order hadn 't fully arrived caught my eye. I noticed one lady getting up and complaining because, rightly so, she was still waiting for her pizza while the remaining people had already finished. Another absolutely unforgivable element are the candles, positioned absolutely randomly around the room. They don 't catch the eye at all and risk being trampled on easily. Right in front of me a gentleman spilled one, getting his shoe and trousers dirty with wax. Even more worrying, however, was seeing a small girl who was behind her mother 's chair, literally touching a candle positioned there (why put a candle behind a customer 's chair? with the risk of getting burned or, at worst, set his trousers on fire, as the flame was quite high and fluttered here and there in the wind. But then the place was literally surrounded by candle holders, lanterns... completely unused. (Look at the photos Overall it was truly a terrifying experience. I 've heard complaints from the staff about there are only two waiters : I, frankly, don 't give a damn about their management problems. I am only and exclusively interested in paying for a service/product and receiving it, without having to have a stomach ache, without the risk of stumbling somewhere and without being made fun of. In conclusion, the prices were average and the pizzas good, but I would never, ever go back to such a place.

With friends we ordered take-away pizzas, when we arrived at the agreed time the managers were a little confused about the order, but that's ok, of the 3 ordered pizzas one was with gluten-free dough. The 2 classic dough pizzas were average, but the gluten-free one was worthy of a complaint, it costs 1 euro more and was the size of a 4-year-old's pizza, it almost looked like a frozen base from the discount store with the topping on it, the saddest take out order ever

The reviews I read in my opinion do not do justice to this place. Location excellent location convenient to the beach, very simple but welcoming. External area dedicated to customers and children's play corner. Nice staff. Excellent service and quality price. I didn't get the pizza, the pizzeria is closed this year. But, from appetizers to desserts, nothing to say, in fact I asked for a first course off the menu (orecchiette cacio e pepe which I recommend) and I was satisfied. I advise.

A nice and apparently well-maintained outdoor veranda... staff? Leave a little to be desired! The pizza is good, but nothing exceptional, I didn't get to taste anything else so I can't comment. A place that could certainly do much more given the location and the outdoor space dedicated to customers.

I giudizi che leggo secondo me non rendono giustizia a questo posto.  Location ottima posizione comoda alla spiaggia, molto semplice ma accogliente. Spazio esterno dedicato ai clienti e angolo gioco per bambini. Personale gentile. Ottimo servizio e qualità prezzo. Non ho preso la pizza, quest'anno la pizzeria è chiusa. Ma, dall'antipasto al dessert niente da dire, anzi ho chiesto un primo fuori menù (orecchiette cacio e pepe che consiglio) e sono stato accontentato. Lo consiglio.
