La Camascia - UGENTO

Is not a real farm but a nice restaurant immersed in the countryside. the food is good, but I would recommend the chef to avoid elaborate dishes that do not meet the goto of all. have fresh local products, it would be better to recalculate the typical Salento dishes.

The location is close to the coast 5/10 minutes drive. Located in the middle of their park/ surrounded by fruit trees. The food and location were excellent. Beside the own grown bio products they offer fish and meat dishes. Worth tasting the starters with the 8 different appetizers mixed between vegetables and fish or meat types. Main pasta dishes are great. We took fish and it was good and prepared with cure and good spices. Prices are slightly above the average, but in line with more touristic places. 10/12 euros for a main pasta 14/16 for a main meat/fish dish. Dessert was figs pie...incredibly good. Great people, very friendly and ready to advise on the choices. We couldn't go back once more only because we were leaving.

Fish dinner with friends, we were advised by the host of the holiday home we thanked. all very good, Mr. lorenzo kind and welcoming. mal reported is not easy to find it.

We stayed in this farm on our last day of vacation a really lovely place with possibility to let children play in total tranquility. excellent welcome, delicious dishes among other things presented and explained very well, all fresh stuff the friendly and helpful owner recommended us a delicious pink wine. excellent value for money.
