Warung D'carik - Ubud

Just 5 minutes away from our villa, this warung is an increased experience to eat local foods overlooking rice fields. Carik, I have learned, means the rice paddies. Two friendly and hospitable ladies with smiles. The food is delicious and present. I love all possible Eudang and the black rice pudding was warm and delicious. Here twice for dinner, the good food, service and romantic ambience. Very recommended! Pls support the local wars in the village :

We had the green chicken cure, mie Goreng with shrimp and Gado Gado as a meal and the black rice pudding and the fried banana as a dessert. Everything tasted amazing, the people from the restaurant were super friendly and had great prices :

Don't go anywhere! The food here is excellent. During our first visit we had the Crispy Ente and Rendang. Both were amazing quality and the taste was excellent. Second visit we tried the grilled tuna. It was cooked to perfection and the sauce with it took it to the next level. You can spend a lot of money in Fancier restaurants, but don't bother if this place offers so nicely prepared food. We're coming back to dinner.

Beautiful open air place overlooking palms and rice pastries, serving Indonesian food as it should be. Staff very friendly and well maintained. Certainly recommend this for those looking for an uncomplicated and comfortable, traditional meal.

Amazing quality food that we came back 3 times for. Rendang, crispy duck and tuna steaks are all 1st class and best we have had in Bali. Better quality food than restaurants charging so much more.
