Canoochee Catfish - Twin City

I’ve been going to Cannoochee Catfish for over 25 years. The food is always been excellent and the service is great. It’s worth the 45 minute drive it has a great atmosphere. The waitresses are kind and considerate.

Drove way out of the way to have dinner here. It would have been nice if the girl on the phone or the site had addressed that they're cash or check only in 2024... Food smelled like it would be delicious, but definitely time to come to the current century or at least warn potential guests calling in for more info that you're cash only.

I was a first-time customer and ordered two take-outs of shrimp, oysters, and flounder. I got home only to discover I had a rotten baked potato. Cannoochee Catfish should cut open their potatoes before giving them to their customer. The hushpuppies are pitifully tiny and only two and they didn't even offer a drink with the meal. The shrimp was tiny.

Small, friendly restaurant. My husband wanted to try it, so we did. Normally, I would not order catfish when eating out but how could you not in a place called the Canoochee Catfish ??We like our seafood fried, so that's how we ordered it. I had the catfish and clam straps. Hubby had that plus scallops. The prices are pretty reasonable. Meals come with 2 sides-we had a baked potato and coleslaw. Also comes with hushpuppies. All In All a pleasant experience. Servers were very nice and took good care of us. I think there are a lot of regulars since many were addressed by name. It was a busy Thursday eve there. They have limited hours, so check before you go! Enjoy!

We love to go to Canoochee Catfish. My husband has tried different fish meals and the steak...enjoying all of them. I tried shrimp and oysters They were very good but once I ordered the grilled salmon with grilled vegetables and a bowl of buttered grits, that has become my go-to meal. Their grilled salmon is the BEST on the PLANET!!! No other restaurant's salmon can compare to their's.NONE, Period. We shall return.Prices are fair; especially when you know you will get a good meal and leave satisfied.(We live an hour away and gladly make that drive. ?
