Bidrage med feedbackI usually have nothing but good things to say about Osteria Pulcinella. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, and the decor has a charming Italian trattoria vibe. The service is typically friendly and efficient, but on this particular Sunday lunchtime, it was quite disorganized. It seemed like our waiter may have been hungover. We had to ask for the specials menu and wine list, which are usually provided automatically. We waited a long time to order, and had to seek out the waiter to place our order. When one person at our table was offered parmesan for her pasta, the waiter ignored me when I also wanted some and had to be called back to request it. Additionally, when I asked for black pepper, a broken pepper mill was dumped on our table instead of the usual freshly ground pepper. We were even given warm milk instead of cold with our coffee. Despite these issues, I will still return to Osteria Pulcinella without hesitation, hoping that this was just an isolated incident. The food was still just as excellent as always.
This Italian restaurant is a hidden gem that never disappoints! Whether you're dining with locals or out-of-towners, they will be impressed with your choice to dine at Osteria. Every dish on the menu is a winner, so you can't go wrong with any choice.
This Italian restaurant in Twickenham is excellent. The quality of the food is matched by the excellent service. I highly recommend it.
Different to the run of the mill italian menu. still plent of pasta choice though. The food which we did order was very nice and full of flavour. The place has atmosphere and was a nice resturant to dine in. We had 2 bottles and 2 glases of wine between 5 of us and it came out at just over £50 a head. Not lived in Twickenham for a good few years but we eat in Earls court only three days ago and it came out at £35 a head for the same amount of food and wine, so I guess Twickenham could be a little pricy. Marks out of 10 a solid 8
Welcoming and friendly service, matched by well prepared homely Italian cooking made for a very pleasant and unrushed lunch with friends.
