Selfish Fish N Chips Tweed Heads

Went to Selfish at Coolangatta Strand. Ordered the seafood basket for two to share with my hubby. Best location with beachfront views. Food was fresh and delicious, awesome crumb and batter and fish was good size and flaky. All the extras like calamari, chips etc was yummy too. Was great to actually see the chef freshly preparing the seafood before cooking. And that Tartae sauce yum! We were so full as portion size was definitely huge enough and we couldn't finish it all. Super friendly staff. Definitely be back.

Had a really nice serving of whiting and chips but the calamari was delicious. Lovely and tender. Recommended this fish and chips shop. You can sit on the verandah and eat your takeaway in comfort.

I would recommend this place. Service was good staff were polite and didn't have tovwait long to eat.All in all whiting and chips were very nice.

We have eaten here many times , the Dory chips are the best around not to mention the coffee , we won't go anywhere else for our fish chips . By the way we travel from Murwillumbah wouldn't buy from anywhere else . We've tried the rest now we've found the best . The staff are so friendly also , great old fashioned manners . I just love this place every thing about it . Prime position right on the water , I could go on for ever . Just stopped on way through to Byron Bay and had the best hamburger in my life .... hats of to the Chef who was working today !! Friendly staff ... Thank you we will be back !
