Metro Diner - Tuscaloosa

Omg the food is amazing. We tried the chicken and waffles and its one my favorite breakfast plates. I appreciate that it's bone-in chicken it gives it a different flavor. The chicken had a nice crispy texture and the waffle batter was nice and fluffy but the strawberry butter. Wow.

Woow! Our First time dining in Metro Dinner one of my best experiences with restaurants. I was very impressed by their food quality super delicious their meals taste like home cook food. Great service! The staff were very sweet kind and helpful , our waitress was caring , helpful and friendly she recommended me a very delicious meal. The food quality is everything here! Totally worth the price. The restaurant was clean, comfy tables the atmosphere was just amazing. We enjoyed our time in this restaurant! Will be dining here more. Highly recommended!

Everything that you expect and more. It was visited by Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host Guy Fieri so you know it?s going to be great. Huge portions at a modest price. The grilled city meatloaf is comfort food to smooth the soul.

I love Metro Diner; I'm not sure what happened today but our breakfast was terrible and our server pretty much nonexistent. Our pancakes were so tough you couldn't even cut them with a fork let alone a knife. They were very chewy, maybe over beaten batter or banked pancakes not sure. No we did not eat them they were terrible. The over easy eggs were over cooked. The hash browns were greasy and the home fries over cooked. The sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs were the only properly cooked items. Our server never came back to check on us until she dropped the check on the table. I really hope this was just an off day because I would really love to change my review.

Friendly service and good food. The Hawaiian Burger was a favorite and the strawberry butter typically served with the fried chicken.
