Druid City Brewing Company - Tuscaloosa

Had the time of my life here. The owner was so sweet and kind, attended a party and he was beyond accommodating to my mini health issue i was having. The place has a feeling of togetherness, i had never been there before but was treated as family. You can sample the beers on offer, and the price for a beer is responsible even better than any brewery i have visited recently. I cannot wait to come back.

There is a very limited drink menu, but the vibes here are so chill! My group of friends come here several times a week to participate in their game nights Monday is Music Bingo and Friday is Trivia! Although the brewery is setup in a big parking lot, they have several tables and extra chairs for people to use. The employees have always been super helpful and always let you sample drinks!

Laid back atmosphere. Good brew. Seems to be dog friendly. Nice Chinese restaurant behind it to get some good food.

I probably would have stayed for a second beer butt the smoke was horrific. How can patrons be so rude to smoke at the open doors? Clearly Stan does not care. We will enjoy ourselves at another more considerate place.

Full disclosure: I absolutely love this place. Allow me to go on and on too long about it. First, the beer list is small, but varied, and all superb locally-brewed beers. Second, the owner and bartender s) here are super friendly, helpful, and will definitely let you sample any of their wonderful wares. Third, the seating outside feels like it emerged from an episode of Portlandia about the newest bar in Portland which is actually a site for old industrial wooden cable spools that happens to have great beer next to it. By which I mean: it's shabby chic; the height of ye olde cultural in the heart of Tuscaloosa. Fourth, you can literally walk to Mr. Chen's in between beers, get the amazing Shrimp and Black Bean Sauce you should, it's delicious), take it back to DCBCT, and eat it while drinking another beer at said wooden cable spool table. Fifth, read #4 again. For real! It makes for an amazing slightly-inebriated night! Love this place. Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe I should go this evening? See you there!
