What a nice place great eating great smile service at a very reasonable price they wait for a few years drive past before I should have been here recommended years ago

A friend suggested we try Blackies, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The lamb dish was the best I've ever had! Our group enjoyed our meals and we can't wait to return in the near future. The owners were very welcoming.

Again, another very good experience at Blackie’s Restaurant Bar. We visited with a friend from Brisbane who was very impressed. Thoroughly enjoyed the dishes, always a hard decision in what to choose, everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was also spot on....Thank you and we will be back again shortly.

We went with our friends to Blackie’s for dinner on New Years Eve. Our friend mobility issues and the staff were so wonderful and accommodating. The restaurant was festively decorated with helium balloons, party hats and poppers. The menu was quite extensive and the wine...choice was great and reasonably priced. Our friends shared a dozen local oysters for starters while my husband and I shared the salt and pepper squid and octopus. Fabulous flavour. For mains one had the chicken Asian style, one a huge succulent steak, my husband really enjoyed the Atlantic Salmon while I lived my rack of lamb. The best thing was that come 9pm we were able to watch and enjoy the fireworks from our table. So good! Have to say a big thanks to the owners and staff for a wonderful evening and for really going out of their way to look after our friend.
