Had a fantastic lunch with friends at this restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the menu had a great selection, and the food was beautifully presented. My wife, who has a Gluten Free diet, had the game stew and I opted for the chicken Caesar salad. Both dishes were delicious with generous portion sizes and good value for money. Highly recommend trying this place out.

I highly recommend trying the scampi and the strawberry dessert. Despite my wife's gluten-free dietary restrictions, it was not an issue at all.

We had a delightful dog walk and then booked a table for Sunday lunch at this restaurant. They accommodate dogs and the staff were very kind, providing water and dog treats for our three furry friends. We were seated by the bar next to a charming wood burner, creating a cozy atmosphere. My pork roast was excellent with perfectly cooked vegetables, a huge Yorkshire pudding, and crispy roast potatoes. My daughter enjoyed a tasty burger and chips. For dessert, we indulged in a chocolate brownie and Baileys crème brûlée. I will definitely be returning soon.

Our extended family went to the Woodcock Inn for a sunday lunch. We were a fairly big group of people including children and a baby. The pub staff made us all feel welcome and were completely relaxed and happy taking our many orders....The space was great and the food was excellent! Truly faultless, perfect sunday roast. This is a rarity, as there's always something that isn't quite right in a roast but in this case every single person had a delicious, large, tasty meal. I thoroughly recommend it and if I am ever nearby that area again (we were just passing through) I would absolutely return!

The food was ok. But none of the staff were wearing masks. Many customers walking round without masks. NOT GOOD AT ALL
