The sandwiches served for afternoon tea were disappointing, especially considering the fact that a vegetarian menu was requested at the time of booking. The options provided were cheese and tomato, as well as cucumber and cream cheese. It would have been nice to see more variety and creativity in the sandwiches, rather than focusing solely on the style of the hotel.

This afternoon was exactly what we were looking for - relaxation, peace, and delicious food beautifully presented. It was the perfect outing for my mom, one of her first since the pandemic started. We were able to truly relax as we were the only ones there at the time. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

First we lost ourselves by false instructions for reception and not in the position to come through a door. not a place where they have a afternoon tea that wasn't even in the hotel was placed in the steak restaurant. teet pots had tee bags in so were very weak and needed to demand more tee bags. sandwichs stale and not much choice. I was for many afternoons and I'm sorry to say this is the worse.

We were very disappointed by our experience at this restaurant. We were not given a chance to order drinks, and the afternoon tea was placed on the table before we were fully settled. We were not given the option for champagne or prosecco, and a birthday cake with a candle that was requested never materialized. We waited for three and a half hours without any check-ins from the staff, and were eventually told we had to leave to make way for dinner service. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to our friends in the future.

Considering it was very quiet that day, the service was a bit slow. But the sandwiches were nice and there was plenty of cream for the scones. This is just my opinion but I would have preferred more sandwiches and less cakes. scones and about mini cakes is an awful lot of calories so we only are half them
