Peacemaker Lobster Crab Co. - Tulsa

Nice inside, our waiter was attentive and served us well. But the food....it was just simply not good. We got the Gumbo, collard greens, crab boil, and crawfish boil. The gumbo was watered down an mostly broth. The crab boil was cold with zero flavor just bland same for the crawfish cold everything. We were searching for that pop or some kind of seasonings but it was just bland. The clarified butter was what seemed to be straight vegetable oil and not the ghee creamy goodness you dip your seafood in. Collard greens were good I'll give it that, had a nice vinager bite to it as well as the biscuit. Our bill total was $112 which we don't mind paying if our pallet and tummys leave happy but over all it was underwhelming and overpriced. Due to this we wont be returning. 2 stars because our waiter was nice.

Way overpriced. $18 for a small portion of lobster Mac cheese with only 3 pieces of lobster in it. The shrimp poor boy w/ fries was more of a tomato sandwich with a few pieces of shrimp on top. Lastly, the coleslaw looked tasty but deceived our taste buds. As far as flavor goes, it was mediocre at best. NOLA’s remains king.

I met with an old friend here for lunch. Now I am not a seafood eater; however, they even have food for people like me. I had the chicken sandwich, and what a knockout it was. I think they bread their own chicken, whereas this breading is a clear step above any everyone else. They use some high quality bread too, as the bun had soft and buttery flavor. They use garlic aioli as a sauce and for a twist, they use bread and butter pickles, instead of dill. The staff is absolutely wonderful here. The atmosphere is even better. I damn near gave these guys a 5 out of 5. Home Run pick with these guys. FYI since my friend works with the company, I gave 4 out of 5 to insure the integrity of my rating. I am exstreamly picky, and do not like to give out 5 out of 5s rankings, unless they are truly earned. I really enjoyed my sandwich; however, seeing my friend and the fact he works with them, my excitement could impair my judgment and give a higher score than deserved. Therefore I gave it 4 out of 5. We stumbled on to this spot by chance with a google search and we are so glad we did. This place has a nice vibe and the food is freaking amazing. I am serious …….. absolutely awesome.
