We ordered the farm fresh golden beets deviled eggs twice they were so good, the short rib quest dip, bistro Oscar, the pan seared jail island salmon with a side of grits and wild smokedmushrooms. ???? Look forward to returning.
Jack is awesome! Friendly , attentive and knowledgeable Definitely suggest the wyagu rib with home made pasta. It?s rich and very enjoyable ! The charcuterie board has some pickled red jalepenos that are perfect heat level and full of flavor. I alsochose the ceviche and it?s great! But I like a kick of spice better than mango still a wonderful appetizer!
We ordered room service for breakfast from this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I had the steak skillet (which is on the menu we were given at check-in but technically no longer on the menu) and my husband had the breakfast burrito. They wereunderstanding of my food-allergies and the food was delivered promptly and it was hot. I highly recommend the chef and thisrestaurant.
Update on shrimp and grits: I had them this week as leftovers and I can say they were the best shrimp and grits I?ve ever eaten. Continue that tasty thread to the rest of your food and drink nd you?ll succeed! Unfortunately, I can?twrite a great review of this restaurant. We had wanted to try it for awhile and finally went for dinner. The atmosphere is okaybut lacking something?I?ll say ambiance. The lights should be dimmed after a certain hour. It was too bright. We should have satat the bar and if we go again (unlikely , we will sit at the bar. We ordered mango margaritas and I had a Paloma Fresca after myfirst margarita. Both were way too sweet and barely had tequila in them. I should have learned my lesson after the firstmargarita. I might as well have ordered juice. Weak! Both overpriced. We had ceviche as appetizer. It came in a small martiniglass for $15. I liked the (pita? bread that came with it. Ceviche was typical and nothing special. It also could have beenpresented better. Way overpriced. My partner ordered the burger and I had the shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits had elementsthat were tasty but needed more salt than I usually put on my dishes. The burger and french fries were standard in taste. I?dsay both dishes could have been $5 less. We?re not cheap diners but I expect prices to reflect skill and taste. This place?sprices did not reflect that at all.
Walked in to have a cocktail and possibly dinner with a friend on Wednesday night. Only two other people at the bar and the bartender never greeted or even acknowledged us. We waited at least ten minutes to put in an order before finally walking out.Afterwards, I told my friend that was literally the unfriendliest service I?ve ever experienced in Oklahoma. Really surprisingand disappointing.
