Bidrage med feedbackGood place to dine with family and friends. Their boodle fight packages are great bang for a buck option for a good large meal with good value for money.
If you want a large meal suitable for a lot of people to enjoy then this is the place for you! Everytime i catch up with friends and family and we're in the mood for something delicious and with large serving sizes then we always choose to go here. The service and atmosphere is also very chilled out.
GREAT SERVICE; OK FOOD We spent my mom 's post birthday there and we ordered Magellan 's Landing buffet, crispy pata, and sinigang na bulalo. The crab in the buffet is small (unlike the big crab pictured in their menu), and the crispy pata is not that really crispy. So I guess, it 's just fried pata. Nonetheless, we love the rest of the food, and my mom still enjoyed the crispy pata. Also, they made a glass of chocolate milkshake for my mom (I 'm jealous), so I think that 's a plus. Kuya Mark, one of their crew members was so nice and attentive. I hope the management will recognize how well he is doing his job. If you 'll try Seafood Island, I suggest you don 't expect too much on how your food will look like in actual. BUT please, do EXPECT it 'll taste fantastic. Will defenitely go back, so do my mom 's skinny crab justice. Lol
Magellan's Landing has always been our staple at Seafood Island outlets. The boodle type feast features rightly seasoned bagoong fried rice, grilled tilapia, lumot (giant squid), chicken, liempo, steamed shrimps, fried crispy danggit, and kilawin tanigue. Consistently well prepared across all 4 branches we've tried in south Metro (SM Southmall, Alabang Town Center, Solenad 2, and Solenad 3), it is truly a culinary delight even Magellan and his crew would've hungrily dug into upon landing in the islands after circumnavigating the world. There are other boodle varieties Seafood Island offers depending on quantity and meat seafood salad combinations all fresh, appetizing, and generous in serving. No wonder groups like families, office mates, team mates, and gangs of friends arrive in troves come meal time. The only drawback at Seafood Island is the staff's ability (or lack thereof) to cope with the surge of patrons. Aside from long lines and children noisily playing about, patrons who've paired beer with their food sometimes become rowdy and unmindfully turn the dining hall into their private living room or worse, a sports bar! That can at times be a bit irritating and inconsiderate of other diners wanting to enjoy their meals in calmer surroundings, so to speak. The patronage has also made getting orders served quite a wait long enough in fact to make some of the grilled delicacies turn deli cold instead of charcoal hot or warm. If these concerns can be addressed, then probably Seafood Island can expect greater patronage that'll be good for the business.
Best make it a female, get all the stuff!!! And San Miguel to wash it all down with. Crab was live and fresh before it was cooked Thai Chili Style sauce was amazing put on top of your rice and lots of calamansi!!!...wow!!!... making my mouth water just talking about it. Gotta go back and take the wifey here.
