Bidrage med feedbackRomanian traditional food is served in a beautiful restaurant in Tulcea. The location is great, at the entrance of the city.
I went to lunch with my husband and my 1 year old son. My son played with the food and threw several pieces on the ground. When we asked for the bill, the waitress began to strangle us, that we are bad parents, that the 1 year old is not trained, and they brought the brooms to say that we should incredibly clean the floor. We told the waitress that we will file a complaint, and we want to take the bill with us, and she changed the first bill with another, another hour and another number so that she could issue a tax receipt (she did only that after we said we will file a complaint). Terrible experience...
Good serving, fast and polite. The food was very, very good, it comes in large portions. And clean bathroom.
Having eaten a fair amount of romanian cuisine in Bucharest we arrived in Tulcea and came here. We found dishes that don't appear on tourist menus at half the price of bucharest, including house wine at 20lei a litre. The staff didn't speak any english but we managed to do ok in Spanish. Certainly worth a visit.
