Thirsty's Neighborhood Grill - Tucson

I'm honestly surprised by the low stars. At first glance it just seems like an old folks bar, but the FOOD my goodness. I had a Turkey special with everything you could have for thanksgiving, they even have dickmans ugly steak! If you know, you know. The burgers are also amazing and well done. This waitress is wonderful too, she had the whole restaurant on her service and I never felt neglected at all she always checked on us and kept our drinks full. Don't sleep on this hidden gem because I did.

Just an update to my last review from a while ago. This local sports bar/restaurant every Friday night all you can eat fish. You can get it baked or fried. It was very busy since the special was currently going on. The staff did a decent job keeping the fish coming since it was busy.

We went in for lunch on a recommendation. The waitress was soo nice and friendly. The place has such a nice local easy going vibe to it. The food was delicious and huge portions. Will we go back?? Heck yes! Have to try some of their other meals!

Thirsty's is one of my favorite burgers in Tucson. And the ugly steak burger is amazing as well. Everything they prepare is like home cooked but better. I hope they don't change a thing. It's that good. I'll send an update on the wings, I'm waiting for my dinner to arrive! Thank you Thirsty's!

Terrible service and the food is absolutely disgusting. The fried chicken sandwich was a joke. It 's a stoffers frozen chicken breast 'puck ' that you buy at Costco to feed your kids. The only people that the owners pay any attention to is the alcoholic day drinkers sitting at the bar and they have absolutely zero interest in serving or paying attention to anyone else in their establishment. It is the WORST BAR in Tucson. If you want great bar food go to On-the-Rocks, Jeff 's Pub or Hopps. Stay away from this crappy place at all costs.
