Terraza Garden Patio Lounge At The Hacienda Del Sol

We like Terraza for special occasions because the food and service are usually very good. We did find it a bit odd rhat our waitress asked for our (first names like they wanted to be on a “first name basis” with us…seemed a bit too familiar. That and the ambiance and noise level ratings were downgraded a bit because of the entertainment sound level. We’ve commented on this in past reviews but management doesn’t seem to get the fact that most (in our view is the patrons are not there for a “floor show” but would appreciate some soft, gentle music that is conducive to intimate conversation. Next time we go, if it isn’t that, we’ll sit outside the enclosure (if it’s not threatening rain.

The Hacienda Del Sol is simply a beautiful and unique place to visit and dine. We ordered one of the Sonoran Restuarant week event specials. (Main course-salmon). It was a very good meal; it 's goodness almost matched what we regularly prepare at home. Service was splendid; our server 'Brooke ' took great care of us. The ambiance was a so delightful and the pianist played such wonderful music. For those real special events, we shall return.

A perfect evening in a perfect setting. Great food, attentive service, a scenic mountain backdrop, and beautiful surroundings. No sour notes anywhere. Even the gift shop was a fine experience! Highly recommended. For red wine lovers, do try the St. John cinq cepages cabernet blend. Smooth and flavorful, truly outstanding selection

Did the restaurant week experience and food was not the usual quality we received in our past years of coming here

The volume of the live music was too high. I doubt I can get my spouse to return. People want to talk at dinner, not shout at one another.
