Bidrage med feedbackToday my wife, son and I decided to treat us at this restaurant for dinner. My son is 6 and has autism. It's not easy to eat for our family and we don't have the financial resources to do so often. In other words, it was a big thing for us. The woman who greeted us was friendly, but informed us she wasn't our waitress and sent a server on our way. After 5 minutes she returned and told us she would take our order, but was from work and our server would bring the food. Uncertainly what we wanted, we put the order of our son in chicken strips and fries, so that it would be ready quickly as waiting can sometimes be difficult for him. When the waitress returned a few minutes later, I ordered the French toast combo. She asked for Fritten instead of Hash Browns and I asked soft bacon. 25 minutes later, a server brought out all our records including my sons now cold plate, but brought crispy bacon for me and hash browns for my wife, with a side of fries in a bowl. We explained that this is not what we ordered, and he returned a few minutes later with my bacon. “Is it soft enough?” he asked. I felt like he would surrender and I explained that soft and crispy were no opinions they were physical states of being. He told my wife that her side of the Pommes would be the same outside. We explained to him that they ordered Pommes instead of Hash Browns and we would simply take the fries into the bowl we were given. Not to know that IHOP does not hold a “regular” syrup at the tables, why not? We didn't ask for a meal. My wife had to wait 3 minutes at the kitchen entrance to get a container with “normal” syrup. At this point we were extremely upset with our previous experience, but put on our smiles and began to eat. The food was good. Halfway through our meal another server possibly Alex? came to our table and asked if we ordered a page of Fritten. We explained what happened and he left the fries at our table “Well, I don’t know who ordered them, so go here,” was his answer. At this point I started to worry about how much the bill would be to see how we had two “pages” of French french french french fries at our table, but unfortunately it doesn’t end there... I ran out of drinking at about 6:25. I put my empty glass on the edge of the table. The server that brought our food was next to us on the table for 7 minutes and has not checked for us. In fact, no one checked the entire visit. At 6:40 the rest of my food was freezing and my wife went to the register to talk to whoever was in the cargo. My wife got our cheque, who not only accused us for an additional side of Pommes, there was a load for a side of hash browns. After the explanation for “Sierra” we think that their name is not what we wanted, the delay in our sons record, and the empty drink that we were sure would send someone to our table to fill my glass again. “Sierra” gave my wife an IHOP business card and hand wrote on the back “good for 2 adult meals and 1 child meal at the next visit”. She told my wife she could use it at any IHOP location, which is extremely hard to believe that I can take a hand written ANYTHING to a NY business and get a comp’d meal. When my wife returned with ’Sierra’s solution, I waited another 5 minutes and had no server yet to check for us or refill my drink. So I went to her and re-explained her experience to her, gave her her "cap card" and told her to use her for this visit and we wouldn't come back. As I said, it's not easy for my family to eat. It must be planned. Money must be saved. Our son must be prepared to go. All these things must be put in place, and today's experience has assured that my family will not return to this place.
Tried to bring my husband in with the kids for Father 's day, our waiter was very nice but seemed like they just put him on the floor with no training. We waited about 10 minutes for drinks and placed our order. After 20 or so minutes the wait or comes out to tell us that the turkey melts my husband and I ordered had to be a different meat since they haven 't used turkey in over a month. We opted for chicken. It took another 30 minutes for the food, the kids meals came as we asked but out turkey melts came out sloppily thrown together with hardly anything it was supposed to have on them. The manager came over and was very kind but told us all the cooks are still in training. I have been going to this ihop location since middle school in the early 2000s and probably won 't be back after this.
The food was full of grease. Had to send back eggs three times and they still came out raw. We went out as a group and most of the members food was utterly disgusting. Dogs did well but the cook really needs some training. The waiter however tried to please and deserves kudos.
I've been to this IHOP several times and almost every time I get a different server. Yet without fail I get great service every single time. It's always delicious food and super accommodating.
Okay the service was great I mean I could not have gotten more attention as for the food okay it is like not up to standards the hash browns was way undercooked branded it was brown on top but what about the rest of it goes it not good cooked the eggs was awesome because I order extra toast the chicken fried steak needed gravy because it was just so dry. And of course what they're famous for Asda pancakes not good I mean they're not editable but it it could have been better I think the cook had a bad day they were very friendly there the only thing that pushes me was how it was not busy but the cable is for not being bussed
