Bidrage med feedbackWe decided to have a girls dinner and it was amazing. It doesn?t look like much from the outside- but don?t let that sway you from trying this place! The serving sizes are huge and the prices are more than reasonable. Friendly and prompt staff. Sooo many different things to try from. Being a Tucson native, Mexican food is easily my favorite, and this place did not disappoint me in any ways! We got a carne asada taco bowl, a carne asada tostada and a carne asada wet burrito.*chefs kiss* it was all delicious. We will be visiting again!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but went based on the reviews and was glad I did. The food was really good and the drinks were also great. I'm not sure how long they've been in business as the restaurant was clearly something different in it's past, but if they keep up the quality, they should have no problems. Also, Mickey Mouse was great. He was always there but never intrusive.
We came in at 8 am on Tuesday before our flight home. Machaca for breakfast. Fresh coffee. It was spectacular. Will go again next time we are in Tucson.
The molcajete mixto is absolutely delicious!! Menudo served in an extra large bowl, well seasoned. Well stocked bar and drinks were well made. Definitely coming back. Oh, live band playing all the mexican faves.
We stopped here by accident while searching for street tacos in South Tucson. (The area/neighborhood isn 't the most appealing for those that require that certain atmosphere, but the food was worth it). We didn 't find the street taco stand we were looking for, but this restaurant was highly rated so we decided to give it a try. It was busy, full of Mexican American folks (which is a good sign for a Mexican restaurant) and HAD THE BEST SERVICE WE 'VE EXPERIENCED IN ANY RESTAURANT in the U.S. Victor was EXCELLENT, friendly, and made a good meal better. He was busy as the restaurant was full, but he was on point with everything. The food was delicious and the servings were large!!! We had Carne asada street tacos and fajitas, and it was all delicious. It felt like we were in Mexico and the restaurant had live music, and vendors selling their goods and desserts. It was a fun and unique lunch. The service was OUTSTANDING (I know I mentioned it already but it was so good it was worth repeating).
