The Pond Classic Grill - Truro

Although it is a chain restaurant, this place serves up a decent burger and fries. The fries are fresh, crispy, and not overly oily.

I have never written a review before without trying the food first, but this will be my first time.

I came in today with a craving for a burger and luckily this restaurant was right in my neighborhood.

The food was good, but nothing really stood out. Service was fair, but again nothing special. I would eat here again.

The first visit was for the original donairs which were just perfect and the second, two weeks later we had the smoked meat sandwich and the 10 ounce striploin.To be honest, it had been years since I had steak at the Pond but it was indeed as I remembered it. Tender, juicy and done to perfection.A couple of cold draft (Stella and Rolling Rock) and we were on our way.Heather, thank you so much and we'll see you in a week or so!
