Saloni Tapis Grill - Truro

When I entered Saloni, I was instantly transported from downtown Truro to a charming family-owned and operated Bangladeshi restaurant.

What a delightful surprise in Truro! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a wonderful find. Manny, the owner and chef, prepared a delicious meal for us.

If you've ever spent time in Truro, you'll know that finding good food, especially late at night, can be a challenge.

I just had to check this place out based on the positive reviews. Stopped in for a solo lunch while on business in Truro. My meal experience was simply fantastic. I am certain every dish on the menu is delicious so you can't go wrong....even if you are unfamiliar with the options. Breakaway from pizza, burgers, and fries and open your mind (and your mouth) to the wonderful cuisine here. I am already planning a return visit with family and friends. P.S. Contrary to other reviews, there are indeed tidy washrooms available.

If you are in Truro, you can't beat this place in terms of food. I ordered the duck korma off the sandwich board as it was one of the daily specials. The main dish was delicious, but his ability to create a creative and completely unique salad is what has left me craving this place. Make sure you make a reservation for groups of more than 2 (even though website says 4 and phone message says 3) and bring cash as it is cash only.
