Starbucks - Truckee

Beautiful place on the way to tahoe. make sure that this location is closed and the drive thru is allowed. they can't go into order.

There is no way to order a drink inside… I walked in and all 5 employees just looked at me like I’m crazy to want to order anything from them. Beyond weird. Only have drive through, which I can’t because I’m on a bike. Or ordering online which takes 10 minutes to sign up. I would understand if they are short staffed but they were 5 people working. Those same people who couldn’t care less about customer service.

The in store cafe was closed except for mobile pickup for no reason on a Saturday afternoon. Also the men’s bathroom was entirely out of toilet paper and needed a cleaning. The drive thru line was also like 20 cars long.

The worst coffee shop in Truckee and the worst Starbucks I've ever been to no way to order in person if you don't have the app which forces you to sign up for their rewards program and manually enter all your CC details, my van won't fit in the drive through and you can't walk through the drive through what a terrible experience

Starbucks policy is for stores with closed lobbies to still offer refills even if you leave the store and come back due to the pandemic. They refused didn’t feel like arguing with the manager who seems to be the cause of lots and lots of complaints on here
