Red Truck - Truckee

Simple, friendly, with a pleasant selection of delicious food. And it's fun to see the planes.

Oh, wow. I was told by people to visit Red Truck and never come to it. It's excellent! After 1 meal, it will be in my rotation of the favorites here in Truckee! The gyro was fantastic, especially with the extra Habanero sauce from the serving area. I'll go back tomorrow to try something new!!!

Delicious food coming out of the kitchen. It is fast, fresh, tasty and healthy? Count me! The outdoor seating are next to the runway that sounds strange, but is actually quite beautiful. The tables are comfortable with good shadows, and the Trucke Airport is hardly busy, so it is not really loud at all. I had an excellent business dinner there with a partner, and the three of us enjoyed our meals a lot for not much money. I think it's a simple option when I'm in the area!

Red Truck is by far the best food in Truckee, CA. I went over 4 times a week to Truckee. I am a vegetarian and everything I called, as well as my friend (who eats a lot of meat), loved the food. The Samosas were the best I ever had.... perfectly cooked. The entire staff was so charming, especially the boss and owner (Larry Abney), who is a world-famous cook and he has my mind with how amazing the food was. I'm definitely coming back next year, and the rest of my life. 11/10 restaurant.... go and see for yourself!!!!!!

Flew in from Lincoln, had the samosas salad of the day. Food was delicious. Friendly, fast service, with adherence to the mask rules. Highly recommend.
