Cote Mer - Trouville-sur-Mer

Very nice place with very wide choice of fish and sea food. Not cheap, but tasty and nice. I haven't thought thatit possible to see and to try so many kinds of shrimps!

Wwe walked around and found this kind of a sea food market/restaurants. Few stalls with sea food displayed. We chose this as it was the bussiest. Oysters, lobsters, shripms, mussels, fish...anything from the sea is there to choose. You chose, they serve it on an ice plate with some lemon and mayonese. A glass of wine. Perfect!

You just walk around and pick what you would like to eat. Oysters, lobster, shrimps, ... you name it. They prepare it for you and bring it to your table. All very fresh. You can add a bootle of wine if you want but that is it. No bread, fries, ... as these places aren't restaurants. They are places where you can taste.

There are many similar establishments along here, all serving freshly prepared fish, beautifully presented on a large platter of ice, but this one had a free table! We were not disappointed and although it was quite pricey, we chose exactly what we wanted and washed it all down with a glass of white wine. A great experience.
