Le Mura - TROPEA

Came to Tropea for the weekend and stopped by this place for dinner thinking it would be a nice place to eat. We’ve been living in Italy for 2.5 years now and are well aware of the dinner courses but when they completely forget to bring out half the orders!? We were the second party to sit in the restaurant and watched several other parties get their food and and leave while we were still waiting over an hour for roasted chicken and potatoes and a sausage pizza. The excuse was they were cooking the chicken still. What we thought was supposed to be a roasted whole or half a chicken, when it finally came out, it was 4 wings and potatoes. Also ordered a glass of white wine which took about 45 minutes to get. We did get comped the wine and had to argue about the chicken meals. Absolute terrible experience and don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Did not expect much as previous reviews rated this as a 3.5 restaurant but after eating there we feel that is actually a generous rating . We were recommended a seafood starter which was good but when presented with the bill, definitely overpriced compared to restaurants in same area. My pasta dish was, to say the least, underwhelming but okish whilst my husband’s pasta arrived half an hour after mine and was so disappointing that he left it practically untouched. We complained and they struck it off the bill still, altogether a disappointing event !

Siamo stati accolti da personale cordiale e piacevole, servizio veloce e corsi eccellenti da antipasti a dessert. camerieri gentili e professionali. rispettato tutte le norme anti covid e l'igiene e la pulizia erano in cima.

Già conoscevamo le pietre volte… ottimo cibo ottima musica! Bravissimi.

Servizio lento, abbiamo aspettato un'ora e i piatti sono arrivati in tempi diversi. due dei primi piatti principali sono stati finiti quando siamo arrivati (a 21.) inoltre le porzioni sono decisamente ridotte, i prezzi elevati e le combinazioni troppo taglienti.
