Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I visited Credo for her birthday and we were blown away in any way. Food, service, ambience were impeccable. What an experience! Wine paring was absolutely beautiful, each dish has its own character, perfected by accompanying wine pairings. Wine paring is a must when visitors are wine enthusiasts. On the day of the visit, a total of 21 small but creative dishes were centered around local ingredients. Texture and aroma along with wines, they managed to perfect every single dish. Yes, it is expensive, and I would not recommend visiting Credo every other day. But if you know how well prepared food should taste, it is worth every single NOK.
What a meal! Nice as we were on a trip. Starting on the mezzanine with champagne, apple and snacks. Inserted and included the top of the Norwegian furniture design from the colors Sven Ivar Dysthe and Torbjørn Afdal. The focus on local production was not only applied to food. After a walk we had some fantastic dishes in the restaurant. Coppa and potato cake, lamb, cancer and breiflabb/angle stand out. Also great wine pairs. Love the Testalonga El Bandito I wish I was a ninja and also the Arnot-Roberts Sonoma Coast Syrrah. Most cutlery were vintage Norway design by Skaugum and Hardangerbestikk. Nice detail. The restaurant has several cows that only milk for them. And the desert was a very beautiful milk ice cream. The plum love we had with it was delicious. On the way back to the mezzanine for a coffee and a few lørdagsgodt we were treated on a small tour of the restaurant. Sneak-Peak in the kitchen, visit to the upper floor wine room, information about the art and some of the plants they care and use. That was pretty close to perfection and a meal I will remember.
Great food, with a focus on fresh and raw ingredients. Fantastic service and wine/drink pairings. The cost is certainly high, but you get absolutely what you pay. The only reason I wouldn't give five stars is because I wasn't as overwhelmed as I was hoping I was from the flavors, but still I was impressed and had a fantastic evening.
Great food, wine and atmosphere. Would go again, won a giftard, but would like a similar experience again. I went with the little beverage package and it was perfect for me...
Excellent meal with exiting tastes. Explorative cooking, not all courses were great but the kitchen is clearly creative and are trying to find new combinations of tastes. You clearly feel that the restaurant lives their vision of sustainability and sourcing local and self grown products. Atmosphere is excellent! Also their chef is clearly proud of her employees which is a very important thing to me. Sommelier did a great job and was a great help at picking wines from the list. Price was very decent for a restaurant of this quality.
