Bidrage med feedbackLet’s start saying that this is the best pizza I have eaten so far in Norway. Simple, crusty and very tasty with good quality ingredients. I am Italian so I can definitely recommend this place! You pay a 2 euro service fee but water and olives/almonds are free. 3 stars for 2 reasons: Expensive! 43 euro for 2 Margherita, more than Luxembourg or Japan! Crazy! The service was a bit sloppy. The restaurant was almost empty, and the waiter let us sit down in front of the entrance sitting one a long table just a span away from another guy. I mean… the rest of the restaurant is empty, let us sit down in another place! No other tables were occupied while there. Funny thing is that he needed to check for a minute or so where to let us sit… that was funny…
First place to eat when we landed in Tromsø. Very nice ambiance, great service. Luckily we could have a table as a walk in. The food is very authentic Italian pizza that you cannot really find in Singapore. The pizza tasted like they cooked it in a wood fire, there is some char but it 's not very burnt. The dough is chewy crispy and quite thin. The ingredients are very fresh or a taste that 's more stronger than what I 'm accustomed to. Tried their cured meat ricotta appetisers which came on a bed of arugula or rocket. Very tasty and the taste profile of salty meat with smooth ricotta cheese . For pizza we had canivora and formaggi to share. Recommend one pizza and more appetisers instead as the pizza is quite big. They will serve one compulsory 'service ' of olives and almonds (20 NOK), note it is refillable but will cost additional 20 NOK per refill.
I will start from the worst, prices on the website are not the actual prices, it's much more expensive and they don't have some pizzas from this menu either. Ordered pizzas and some drinks, waiter forgot about our pizza despite not many people inside so we had to wait some additional time. We were served some more starters (olives and almonds) so it's OK (you obligatory pay for starters 20 nok). Pizza was decent, it's an wooden fired oven. Good amount of ingredients. Local is very stylish, modern cyber punk look with very nice touches and details. I liked it a lot! It is a bit overpriced and normally I would not come back here for a normal dinner due to that but worth a try if you want a proper pizza in Tromsø.
Nice place, quite centrally located. The staff are very welcoming and nice. It’s great if you wanna have a cheaper dinner or just some Italian dishes. The pizzas were nice. The dough was good but it could have been better in a different type of oven. We also tried some bruschettas that were very varied and tasty. The house wine was cheaper than in other restaurants. They also provide some black olives and almonds with salt and chilly flakes for an added 18kr service fee.
Like embassies, the surface of this restaurant should benefit from extraterritoriality: a corner of Italy in Tromso. Great pizzas, great Spritz, authentic service and vibes. No brainier. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
